Since starting as a professional photographer in 2005, my passion for finding beauty in everyone and everything has been channeled through my lens. I’m particularly fond of portraiture as it gives me an opportunity to help people see themselves in a new light and express themselves authentically through the visual image. (Incidentally, I also help non-native English speakers express themselves in words through my role as an English conversation coach).
Being in command of the technologies and techniques necessary to bring a creative vision to life leaves room for a fun and relaxing collaboration during every shoot. I want to make people look and feel great, whether they’re in front of my camera (or beside it, as the case may be for agency shoots). And of course, I want my clients to have photos as fantastic as the experience. My goal is for them to love the experience so much that they will come back for more great photos again and again.
When not photographing people, I apply the same attention and sensitivity to the subject. Always keeping the my clients’ needs in mind, I carefully manipulate light, composition, and angle of view to reveal the very best in my subject, whether a product, a space, a dish or a place. The challenge of finding the best possible way to portray a subject is incredibly motivating and the process is something I thoroughly enjoy.
With my education in art history, humanities and studio art, combined with nine years of production coordination and other diverse experience working in the film industry, I bring a unique blend of talents to every project.
I am fond all of the arts, with an exceptional interest in the performing arts, such as music, dance and theatre. While I much prefer to be out of the limelight rather than in it myself, my camera is very happy being pointed at the bright lights, or at those who are used to dwelling under them.
When not shooting or working on my photography business, I can be found organizing social events, coaching people to speak English more confidently, taking scenic strolls around the city, or perched on a patio enjoying good conversation in good company….with a nice glass of French wine of course!

Depuis mes débuts en tant que photographe professionnel en 2005, ma passion pour trouver la beauté en chacun et en tout a été canalisée à travers mon objectif. J'aime particulièrement le portrait car il me donne l'opportunité d'aider les gens à se voir sous un nouveau jour et à s'exprimer de manière authentique à travers l'image visuelle. (D'ailleurs, j'aide également les anglophones non natifs à s'exprimer avec des mots grâce à mon rôle de coach de conversation en anglais).
Maîtriser les technologies et les techniques nécessaires pour donner vie à une vision créative laisse place à une collaboration amusante et relaxante lors de chaque séance. Je veux que les gens se sentent bien (qu’ils soient devant mon appareil photo ou à côté, comme cela peut être le cas pour les shootings en agence). Et bien sûr, je souhaite que mes clients aient des photos aussi formidables que l’expérience vécue. Mon objectif est qu'ils aiment tellement l'expérience qu'ils reviendront encore et encore pour de superbes photos.
Lorsque je ne photographie pas des gens, j’applique la même attention et la même sensibilité au sujet. En gardant toujours à l’esprit les besoins de mes clients, je manipule soigneusement la lumière, la composition et l’angle de vue pour révéler le meilleur de mon sujet, qu’il s’agisse d’un produit, d’un espace, d’un plat ou d’un lieu. Le défi de trouver la meilleure façon possible de représenter un sujet est incroyablement motivant et le processus est quelque chose que j’apprécie vraiment.
Grâce à ma formation en histoire de l'art, en sciences humaines et en beaux arts, combinée à neuf années de coordination de production et à d'autres expériences diverses de travail dans le cinéma, j'apporte un mélange unique de talents à chaque projet.
Je suis passionnée par tous les arts, avec un intérêt exceptionnel pour les arts du spectacle, comme la musique, la danse et le théâtre. Même si je préfère de loin être à l'écart des projecteurs plutôt que d'y être moi-même, mon appareil photo est très heureux d'être dirigé vers les lumières vives ou vers ceux qui ont l'habitude de vivre sous elles.
Lorsque je ne photographie pas ou ne travaille pas sur mon entreprise de photographie, je peux être trouvée en train d'organiser des événements sociaux, d'entraîner les gens à parler anglais avec plus de confiance, de faire des promenades panoramiques dans la ville ou perchée sur une terrasse pour profiter d'une bonne conversation en bonne compagnie… avec un bon verre de vin français bien sûr !
