About the Network Project 

This personal project is a series of black & white portraits of the friends, colleagues and acquaintances in my network in Paris. With these portraits, I aim to capture their essence, helping them to explore and express themselves in a photograph.

Usually done in confined spaces with only a couple of speed lights and portable modifiers, this series has given me the opportunity to get to know my network better while at the same time exploring lighting styles and techniques that I might not try while shooting for corporate clients.

It has been a huge pleasure to honour the network that has helped me feel at home in Paris by sharing in the creative process and producing photographs in gratitude for their ongoing friendship and support.

With 250+ more people in a fast growing network to photograph, this will certainly be an ongoing project with possible exhibition and book.

À propos du project

Ce projet personnel est une série de portraits en noir et blanc des amis, mes collègues et mes connaissances de mon réseau à Paris. Avec ces portraits, je cherche à capturer leur essence, à les aider à explorer et à s’exprimer dans une photo.

Habituellement effectué dans des espaces confinés avec seulement quelques flashs cobra et des modificateurs portables,
cette série m’a permis de mieux connaître mon réseau tout en explorant des techniques et des styles d’éclairage que je ne pourrais peut-être pas essayer pour des clients corporate. 

Ce fut un immense plaisir de rendre hommage au réseau qui m'a aidé à me sentir à l'aise à Paris en participant au processus de création et en produisant des photographies en remerciement de leur amitié et de leur soutien.

Avec plus de 250 personnes dans un réseau en pleine croissance à photographier, ce projet sera certainement en cours avec une exposition et un livre possibles.
